Actor Salman Khan is back to playing godfather to a new set of girls on the latest season of the Bigg Boss.

For the entire season of Bigg Boss 6, the housemates get to meet Salman Khan only twice – first, on their way into the house and second, after being eliminated. At all other times, it’s only via the TV screens. But this time the superstar walked in quietly as soon as Bigg Boss asked all the housemates to pause in their tracks. However, Sana Khan and Aashka Goradia, couldn’t contain their excitement and ran and hugged the superstar!

While Salman later mingled with all the inmates, he also told them to ask him whatever they wanted to. There were also a whole lot of jokes between Salman and Rajev Paul, who was later asked by bhai to tone down his flirting!

Later on the show, Salman went on and danced with all the housemates on Fevicol se. Rather, he introduced them to the song since most of them had been in the house and not heard the raging number. It also seemed like Sapna Bhavnani had mended her bridge with the superstar, as she too was seen shaking a leg.

After dinner and some tasty pizzas, Salman gave a special Christmas present to all the housemates. He made them hear recorded messages from their family members. And by the time Urvashi Dholakia, Aashka Goradia, Sana Khan, Imam Siddique and Karishma Kotak were done listening to their family speak, the room was misty eyed from all the crying!

But Salman lightened the mood, as he hugged everyone and continued cracking jokes on Rajev till the very end. All in all, it was one eventful entry that the housemates will remember for some time to come!

Kingfisher calendar girl Karishma Kotak and model Sana Khan are being touted as Salman’s favourites on Bigg Boss 6, and the upcoming weeks are expected to see the Bollywood superstar promoting these girls aggressively.

On the opening day of the reality show, while introducing starlet-model Sana, Salman reminded the audience he ‘recently did two advertisements with her’.

London-bred model Karishma Kotak was introduced as ‘supermodel’ on the show. She, too, has been Salman’s co-star in an advertisement in the past.

Mentoring PYTs is nothing new to Salman, especially on Bigg Boss. Last year on season 5, many felt he went out of his way to promote starlet Mahek Chahal.

Mahek, who was struggling in Bollywood despite doing an item number in Salman’s 2009 blockbuster Wanted, was reportedly included in Bigg Boss 5 on the superstar’s recommendation.

Mahek, who was hardly a known name before, became a household name after her appearance on Bigg Boss 5.

Karishma and Sana, too, will hope to achieve a similar status.

Going by the first week’s episodes, the girls are playing the ‘babes of the house’ this year and are clearly enjoying the attention of the boys, Kashif Qureshi, Niketan Madhok and Vrajesh Hirjee.

To ensure the limelight stays on them, in the first episode Karishma and Sana were given a dancing task.

Karishma did a pole dance wearing a blonde wig while Sana was seen shaking her booty. 

Both girls are also given maximum footage when they try to grab attention by talking about their ‘controversial’ past.

In an episode, Sana was seen talking about the ‘hypercritical mindset of people’ that led to the controversy over an explicit advertisement she did for an innerwear brand.

‘There were news articles on how such advertisements would have an adverse effect on the young audience,’ Sana was seen lamenting to housemates.

Karishma has also worked in several southern flicks including Shankardada Zindabad, the Telegu remake of superhit, Lage Raho Munna Bhai.

She has been acting hoitytoity on Bigg Boss 6, complaining to Salman about insects inside the house.

‘There are so many grasshoppers and cockroaches inside the house,’ she said.

‘They are your fans, who have come to meet you,’ joked Salman.

The actor has previously played godfather to Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Sneha Ullal and model Claudia.
